Four simple diet tips to control acne forever
One of the biggest causes of acne is poor nutrition. But not everyone's body responds to the same diet. Many of us spend years eating fast food and may even become depressed. Others may attain high blood pressure as the results of too much junk food in their diets. Still others may suffer from diabetes, headaches and other pains. If you have poor eating habits it may be true that you do not suffer from these afflictions. Perhaps your consequences are a case of acne.
It's understood that your diet has a lot to do with acne. It is not too late to change your diet and gain control of the situation. Here are some simple diet tips that will help:
1) Add fish oil to your diet
At a biological level acne is simply an inflammation. Inflammation is one of the natural ways that our body responds to abuse. Acne is one response that is short-term. However, if your acne is due to a more specific problem it can continue to happen over and over again. Acne is simply a way that our body responds to impurities that we have. One of the best ways to fight these reactions is by including fish oil in our diets. Omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil acts as a natural weapon against inflammation and will help immensely.
2) Add fiber to your diet
Acne may also be present because of a fiber were deficiency. Your digestive system needs fiber to filter toxins. These toxins may be the cause of your acne. A diet that is low in fiber and high in junk food is the worst because you are adding more junk to your body without having a fiber to clean it out. If you simply add more fiber to your diet you give your body what it needs to cleanse on its own. Add fruits and vegetables like apples, bananas, and whole grains to your diet because these are excellent fiber sources. You also have the option to increase your fiber intake by taking a vitamin supplement.
3) Decrease your junk food intake
You may be under the misconception that you can cancel out your high intake of junk food by eating extra amounts of healthy food. This is not the case. You must understand that what we do not eat is just as important as what we do eat.
4) Increase your water intake
Water is used to sweep through our body to help remove toxins. It can be helpful if you carry water with you and consume it throughout the day. If you add an increase of water intake to the above three steps this will increase your body's natural healing power.
Finally, don’t be discouraged. If you are consistent with these steps you will begin to find relief from your acne affliction.
